Holebeck is situated in beautiful Weardale in County Durham. The site is about a mile outside the market town of Wolsingham and about 5 miles from the town of Stanhope. Wolsingham town can provide all the necessary essentials one may need to survive a day in the country. The site itself is in the bottom of the valley, surrounded by trees and rolling hills.

Holebeck is a small, family run, pet friendly touring site, open from March to October.

Part of a working farm that has been here for over four hundred years, Holebeck is ideal for all the family. Children can play and explore…while the grown ups can relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

Booking your stay at Holebeck Touring Site is simple online or you can call Carol on 0791 861 4796.

Chrissy5568 - "Arrived at the site and was greeted by both the site owner and her worker. First impressions of the site were very good. The site was well kept and everyone seemed very friendly. Toilets were very clean and most people cleaned them after use. Showers are good, not too hot not too cold. Facilities around the site were very good, plenty of electric and water points. Pitches were a good size and the ground is solid. Even after the heavy rain we had the ground wasn't boggy or water logged like many other sites we have been too. The park beside the reception is monitored by both the staff and parents, the children loved playing in the park and I hardly saw them whilst we were here. All of the people on the site were friendly and would give you a hand if you needed it. Both members of staff go to great efforts to ensure the site runs well and they are doing a very good job. The ice-cream van that came on the site was an added bonus. Security is very good, the entrance to the site is through the barrier which is under CCTV and is shut over the night. There is CCTV around the site which is re-assuring when we left the caravan there for the week. The surrounding villages are very good and have a variety of shops, location of this site is very good and there is some fabulous views up the valley. There is nice walks in all directions from the site. This is the first time visiting the site, wont be the last. Site owners are doing a very good job, should be proud of yourselves."

Loftuslesli - "What a beautiful place this is. Me, my brother and both our partners decided for a weekend away camping and after being disappointed by another site we came across this one and decided to phone and a lovely lady named Carol allowed us to turn up. After being welcomed in we were shown where to pitch up and handed keys for the toilets and a tag for the main gate to open. After pitching up we enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet, of course there was a few kids running around and having fun but neither one of them disturbed us and what friendly people they were. Carol approached us the next day after settling and asked how we like the place and chatted for about 10 mins about the area. It's a lovely place to walk by the stream and see a few farm animals while there. Easy accessible water and electricity points were there and a place to wash your pots and pans. The area is immaculate as everyone picked bits of paper and things up to help keep the place friendly for everyone. It's fantastic. Of course the showers were 20p but at the prices to pitch up, that really wasn't a problem and of course we were willing to pay and we will certainly be revisiting this site and be regulars to the place. Congrats to the site owners. They have a brilliant place.
